Requiem for my Sanity

It's difficult times such as these that I find it necessary to return to the things that make me remember that being alive is occasionally awesome.

Sly Park Lake, in Pollock Pines, CA. I took this a long time ago. I don't know why I never uploaded it... It's been hanging out in my Facebook album forever.

I want to go back there soon, maybe make a panorama of it. The sky's been this wonderfully angry, inky mess lately, so that'd be kind of interesting... It's funny. I'm still totally blocked, but I can never stop the photography... Even if the pictures come out poorly, there's always something interesting waiting to be captured.

As much as I hate CA right now, I would always miss this particular area, even despite it's horrible, ass-backwardness. The beauty of it all year round almost makes me forget. Almost.
